I’ve been blessed to work on some excellent projects. But this is one I am very excited to share with you all. Author T.W. Johnson’s writing is potently emotive, as you can read in the below excerpt. You can check out her and her husband’s emerging publishing company Etched In Darkness and keep a lookout for all the exciting projects coming our way.

“I would create within myself a path of least resistance for him to follow. I would embrace my power and create a vein for him to feel his way through, like breadcrumbs left in a void. He would find what I wanted him to see and through that connection I might see his secrets instead. They always think the path is one way. It lasted only the time it took for two heartbeats, his power winding down what he thought was a path to my secrets. What he found instead was my void, my empty space, the place where I could stop thinking and just react without the hindrance of guilt. My killing space, my desire and need. In that second, I let him see the part that was necessary for survival, that component that made walking the gray path easier. It was the part of me named Ama'krú...death. It is a beautifully bloody and macabre thing to behold, and not what he expected.” - Aster, The Tome of Aster: Wolfpack
